Jang Sung-woo of the Republic of Korea won the Short Track Speed Skating Men's 1,000m gold medal at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on Sunday. In an interview with CGTN Sports Scene, he said he really enjoyed competing in the Chinese "Ice City" despite the cold weather.

Moreover, the International Skating Union (ISU) World Short Track Speed Skating Championships will take place in Beijing in mid-March. Jang said he's looking forward to participating in the tournament and hopes that he can appear in the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics 2026.
