Harbin, China, January 31, 2025: The 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 moved a big step closer on Friday, January 31, with the first Chefs de Mission Meeting for participating delegations.
This landmark CDM Meeting was held in Harbin, home of the ice sports events, and was transmitted online in Yabuli, which will host the snow events.
The CDM Meeting was conducted by the OCA Deputy Director General, Mr. Vinod Kumar Tiwari, and both the NOCs of Singapore and Republic of Korea joined the meeting online.
With just seven days to go before the Opening Ceremony on February 7, the OCA and the 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 Organising Committee shared crucial updates with Chefs de Mission and National Olympic Committees, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration of winter sports.
Although the Opening Ceremony will not take place until February 7, the ice hockey competition will get underway on February 3 and the curling competition the following day.
There will be six sports, including 11 disciplines and 64 events in total, with 32 ice events in Harbin and 32 snow events in Yabuli.
