The Red Cross Society of China and the Organizing Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) oJune 26. Sun Shuopeng, Vice President of the Red Cross Society of China, and Wang Hesheng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025, signed the MoC at a ceremonyheld in Harbin.

The MoC marks the official launch of the Red Cross Society of China's participation in the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025. It is reported that through this collaboration, both parties will give full play to the advantages of the Red Cross, promote the spirit of “humanity, fraternity, and dedication”, and provide timely assistance to people in need of rescue in the office area and outside the venue of the Asian Winter Games through emergency rescue training, mass emergency training, volunteer services, and the establishment of Red Cross rescue stations, so as to realize the Red Cross emergency rescue service at your side, show the world the style of our volunteers, and present a snow and ice sports event that perfectly combines the humanitarian spirit with the Olympic spirit.

Before the signing ceremony, Wang Hesheng met with Sun Shuopeng. Zhang Haihua, deputy secretary-general of the Asian Winter Games Organizing Committee, participated in the signing ceremony.
