In the process of promoting the social publicity work of the Asian Winter Games, the whole society of Harbin paid more attention to the Games and actively participated in the publicity. The Publicity Department of the Executive Committee of the Asian Winter Games actively mobilized 10 departments such as the Harbin Urban Administrative Bureau, Harbin Municipal Tourism Administration Bureau, Harbin Transportation Bureau, the Municipal Education Bureau, and Harbin Metro Group to take the lead, as well as another 43 municipal units on publicity to play their functions, igniting people's enthusiasm for the Asian Winter Games in an all-round way.
The Big Snowflake Giant Ferris Wheel and high-rise buildings of banks or hotels along the Songhua River Highway Bridge present a light show to display the slogan of the Asian Winter Games.
Government office buildings, main traffic roads, stations, shopping malls and stores of Heilongjiang and Harbin all display the slogan or videos of the Games with digital displays of various sizes, aiming to achieve city-wide publicity.
To further improve the frequency and expand the scope of publicity, Harbin's three subways, 2,200 buses and 1,341 taxis also display the information of the Asian Winter Games with their digital screens, so that people can feel the atmosphere of the Games while commuting.
Posters are widely displayed in the city’s main public areas, including government and enterprise buildings and offices, corridors of residential buildings, hospitals, school canteens, and so on.
The relevant departments of the city's 9 districts and 9 counties also displayed the promotional videos and slogans on WeChat official accounts and other media platforms. The city's organizational work and publicity department extended the publicity atmosphere to towns and villages, and realized the synchronous coordination between the main urban areas and non-main urban areas.
According to preliminary statistics, 11,195 digital displays, 9,972 LED scrolling screens, 10 advertisements, 14,181 banners and posters, 396 corridors, 581 residential elevators, and 1470 WeChat official accounts and chat groups have been put into service for publicity of the Games. As the peak season for ice and snow tourism arrives, the publicity of the Asian Winter Games will continue to attract people's participation and social attention, and present the enthusiasm and love of Harbin and Heilongjiang as well as the spirit of China as gift for the grand opening of the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games.
