On December 11th,2023, the special task force of the Executive Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games held a meeting on the study and deployment of preparation work, under the the spirit of the Heilongjiang provincial preparation work meeting. Liang Ye, member of the Standing Committee of Harbin Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Executive Committee of the Games, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Tieli, Vice Chairman of Harbin Municipal People’s Congress and Executive Deputy Director of the Executive Committee, and Zhang Haihua, Deputy Mayor of Harbin and Executive Deputy Director of the Executive Committee, attended the meeting.

The meeting emphasized the need to further raise the political stance, enhance the sense of responsibility, urgency and mission of the preparation work. It highlighted the awareness of Harbin being the host city, and concentrate on all the preparations without distractions. It was necessary to further clarify the goals of the work, focus on the work implementation in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and the Harbin Municipal Party Committee, and effectively integrate quality and efficiency awareness throughout the entire work process. We must strictly follow the timetable, actively cooperate with each work group, and implement the preparation work as quickly and efficiently as possible. It was crucial to further consolidate responsibilities, always put the quality and efficiency of work in a prominent position, while setting an example and benchmark against first-class standards, improving work methods, and implementing the tasks one by one in detail. It was vital to further review and reflect, find problems, make up for shortcomings and improve capabilities, so as to do well in various preparations.
