On December 12, 2023,the Publicity Department of the Executive Committee of the Asian Winter Games held a symposium with the Heilongjiang Main Station of China Media Group (CMG) in the Asian Winter Games Edifice. Both of them had in-depth exchanges on how to do a good job in the current and next step of Harbin ice and snow culture publicity, especially the theme publicity of the Asian Winter Games.

Liu Zongwei, Executive Vice Director of the Publicity Department of Harbin Municipal Committee, Mao Gengwei, Deputy Director of Heilongjiang Main Station, and the Publicity Department of the Executive Committee, Harbin City Culture and Tourism Bureau, Harbin City Sports Bureau and other departments attended the meeting.

Liu Zongwei welcomed Mao's arrival and expressed his gratitude for the support of the Heilongjiang Main Station. He said that around Harbin ice and snow season, the Heilongjiang GMain Station had planned a series of coverage plans. All relevant departments should actively cooperate with the work of the Main Station. It is hoped that both sides take this symposium as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation, increase the publicity of the Asian Winter Games and Harbin, and comprehensively enhance the international influence and reputation of Harbin.

At the symposium, Du Wenxi, Executive Vice Director of the Publicity Department, gave a detailed introduction to the activities such as "Taking photos with the Big Snowman and sending a message to the Asian Winter Games", "the special conference of the emblem, mascot, slogan" and "the performance of the one-year countdown anniversary of the Asian Winter Games" that will be carried out in the next step, and hoped that the Heilongjiang Main Station would continue to give strong support, and jointly create a strong atmosphere of the Asian Winter.

Geng Wei and his delegation introduced the TV, radio and new media resources of Heilongjiang Main Station, especially the winter report planning of "Dating Harbin, Snow Warm World" tailored for Harbin by Heilongjiang General Station. The participants conducted in-depth exchanges on the specific content of the planning and the required technical support and put forward many valuable suggestions and opinions on the specific content of the planning in combination with the actual work. The Publicity Department and other departments said that they will actively cooperate with the Heilongjiang Main Station to complete the planning report and jointly publicize Harbin's wonderful ice and snow picture so that more people can understand and fall in love with the winter scenery of Harbin.
