The opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games commenced on Friday night in Harbin, the capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The highlight of the opening ceremony was the moment the cauldron was lit at Ice and Snow World, inspiring many foreigners to add it to their must-visit list during the Games. Paerolof Livf, a technical official with the International Ice Hockey Federation, said visiting Ice and Snow World is one of his top priorities while in Harbin.
