On December 7,2023,the Office of the Confidentiality Leading Group of the Executive Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games organized a confidentiality training session to provide guidance on the knowledge in this field during the preparation and holding of the Games.The session aimed to further strengthen the awareness of confidentiality and responsibility of all the staff of the Executive Committee, and strict confidentiality measures.

During the meeting, Chen Xiaoju of the Harbin's Municipal Committee's Confidentiality and Security Bureau gave a lecture on the theme of "Enhancing confidentiality awareness and fulfilling confidentiality responsibilities" for all the staff of the one office and fourteen groups of Executive Committee. Chen gave guidance from the perspective of current situation, prominent problems, regulations, requirements, discipline and legal responsibilities of confidentiality work, especially in consideration with the key confidentiality work during the preparation of large-scale international games, analyzed and explained typical leak cases which had happened in previous work, and effectively improved the risk prevention ability of all staff.

With the intense and orderly progress of the Asian Winter Games preparation work, it was particularly important to focus on confidentiality during the Games. Since its inception, the Executive Committee had attached great importance to confidentiality, setting up a confidentiality leading group and office, appointing professionals to carefully plan the implementation of confidentiality, and creating the "Confidentiality Work System for the Executive Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games". In addition, in the offices of the Asian Winter Games Edifice, the Executive Committee distributed 26 sets of publicity materials including "100 Civil Servants' Confidentiality Reminders", "Confidentiality Guidelines for Staff of State Organs" and "12 Disallowances for Staff Confidentiality", and affixed more than 50 confidentiality warning and reminder signs. After the training, the Office of the Confidentiality Leading Group would mobilize all staff to sign the confidentiality commitment, and organize them to go to Heilongjiang provincial national security and confidentiality education base for warning education, so as to strengthen the confidentiality management, to prevent risks and hidden dangers, and to build a security and confidentiality defense line for the Asian Winter Games.
