On January 10, Xu Qin, Secretary of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Congress, and Liang Huiling, Deputy Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met with the delegation of the Coordination Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia headed by Huo Zhenting, Vice Chairman of the OCA and Chairman of the Coordination Committee, in Harbin.

As the largest comprehensive sports organization in Asia, the OCA has made positive contributions to promoting exchanges and cooperation among Asian countries and enhancing friendship between the Asian people. The OCA Coordination Committee, as the body responsible for the liaison and coordination between OCA and the Organizing Committee of the 9th Asian Winter Games, has given strong guidance and support to the preparations for the Games. Hosting the Asian Winter Games is a major event for China and also a major event for Asia. It is hoped that the Olympic Council of Asia and the Olympic Council of Asia Coordination Committee will provide professional guidance in competition organization, venue construction and renovation, market development, etc., strive for more support from world individual sports organizations, and coordinate Asian countries and regions to deepen exchanges with Heilongjiang.
