On January 27th, the passenger volume of Harbin Airport exceeded the 80,000 person-times for the first time, indicating that the daily passenger volume entered the "8 era"; In February, Harbin Airport ensured a total of 14900 flight takeoffs and landings, with a passenger throughput of 2.3855 million, setting a new historical high in a single month.
To satisfy the travel needs of passengers, Harbin Airport has successively opened direct flights from Harbin to Xining, Altay, Urumqi, Yinchuan and other cities, as well as main and branch routes such as Shenzhen-Harbin-Heihe, Shenzhen-Harbin-Jixi, Mohe-Harbin-Shenzhen, and branch routes such as Harbin-Heihe-Mohe, Harbin- Jiagedaqi-Mohe, Weihai-Jiamusi-Fuyuan. Meanwhile, it has increased the frequency of flights to cities such as Shenzhen, Chengdu, Changsha, Kunming, Urumqi, and actively coordinated with airlines to deploy wide body aircraft such as A330 and B787 on routes such as Beijing and Guangzhou.
By leveraging its geographical advantage of being adjacent to Russia, Harbin Airport is fully committed to promoting the construction of an international air route network. It prioritizes the creation of air routes for Russia, Japan, and South Korea, while opening routes such as Krasnoyarsk and Blagoveshchensk, increasing the number of flights to cities such as Vladivostok and Irkutsk, restoring routes such as Jeju, and stabilizing the operation of 7 passenger routes to Russia, with 21 flights per week. Now, it has begun to shape its Far East Express Line to Russia.
At present, Harbin Airport operates 172 air routes linking with 97 cities, which has initially formed an air traffic network centered around Harbin, radiating to important cities in China and connecting neighboring countries such as Russia, Japan, South Korea, and major European and American countries.
